Learn how to use Treat on your mobile device to send e‑prescriptions. Below are a few tips and tricks to help you get started.

You can access Treat via the browser on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device—no apps to download or updates to install.

Write a prescription on your mobile device
Once signed in, you will see your Patient List. From the Patient List, you'll follow the same steps as a desktop user to e-prescribe or e-prescribe with controlled substances (EPCS).
Write a new prescription
- Select a patient.
- From the prescribing screen, choose New.
- Select a prescription Favorite or enter the details for a new prescription.
- Scroll the bottom and tap Finalize Prescription.
Renew a prescription
- Select a patient.
- From the prescribing screen, choose Renew.
- Select the order you want to renew.
- Scroll up and chose New.
- Scroll the bottom and tap Finalize Prescription.
NOTE: You can add new orders to renewals before you tap Finalize Prescription.
Write a custom prescription
If writing a custom Rx on your mobile device, you will only be able to print it to a local or network printer.
Sign prescriptions (EPCS only)
After finalizing prescriptions, you'll need to digitally sign and complete two-factor authentication for controlled substance prescriptions.
