You can import records from CSV or JSON files, which is an easy way to quickly add patients.
Only CSV or JSON files are supported. Column headings must conform to the published file format.
- Go to Settings.
- Click Patients.
- Click Select File to Import, then select the file to import.
- Do either of the following:
- Finish the import: Click "Do not launch plans".
- Finish the import and launch plans: Select applicable plans and click Assign Plans. The selected plans will be sent to all patients in the imported file.
Download sample CSV and JSON files. For additional guidance, see Patient Import Reference.
Handling import errors
If errors are encountered with individual records, only those records with errors are rejected. The system will display a message indicating how many records were successfully imported. Encountered errors are displayed in the error log to help you identify the problems.
If you haven't modified any patient records
- Correct the errors.
- Import the file.
All existing records with a duplicate MRN will be overwritten with new import.
If you have modified patient records
If imported records have been modified, it is recommended that you remove the modified records to avoid overwriting changes.
- Rename the file.
- Delete any records that have been modified in Ayva.
- Correct the errors.
- Import the file.
