Add a Patient
Treat allows you to add and manage patient information for your facility. To add a patient:
- Select the + NEW PATIENT button in the Patient List
- Complete the fields in the new patient profile. At minimum, the following is required:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Address
- City
- State
- Postal Code (Zip Code)
- Date of Birth
- NOTE: Weight is required for pediatric patients
- If applicable, add drug allergies, home (current) medications, and any diagnoses for the patient
NOTE: This will help alert you if there are any drug-drug or drug-allergy interactions when prescribing a medication for a patient. Learn more about this feature - Select the Add another check box if you would like to add another patient
- When ready, click SAVE
NOTE: If you would like to add multiple patients to your facility’s patient list all at once, you can import a file with all of the patient’s information. Learn more about this feature
Manage Patient Information
The Manage Patients tab allows you to edit patient information, initiate a prescription, deactivate the patient from your facility patient list, and view the patients encounter history. To view or update patient information:
- Navigate to the Manage Patients tab
- Select the patient by clicking on the row
- Make the desired changes
- When ready, click SAVE
